Lake of the Ozarks is less than three hours from Kansas City and St. Louis. The travel is primarily interstate and highway with some rural highways and local lake roads. This destination is less than 1/2 day drive from Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, and Illinois. The closest international airport is KCI - Kansas City. Regional airports can be found in Columbia and Springfield.

"We absolutely loved staying at Pamela’s place! We stayed for the Bass Bash, so the dock was perfect for the boat. The home was clean, exactly as pictured & the location couldn’t be beat! Pamela & her team responded great. Having a great host makes having a great trip! We would definitely recommend this home!

"We had a great stay at this rental property! The host was very accommodating and always quick to reply if we needed anything. The house was very clean, spacious, and had an incredible deck that we spent lots of time on. This house is also was stocked with everything you could ever need. The only thing to note is the address on Airbnb is incorrect, so make sure you use the address provided by the host (the addresses look similar, but are very different and not in the same location). We originally booked this place based on the Airbnb marker because it was close to a friend who had his boat docked nearby that we were spending time with. That was a little bit of a bummer but overall it wasn't too much further away and we still very much enjoyed our stay - highly recommend to any future guests!

"This property is exactly as described in the listing. It's decorated beautifully and very comfortable. It was also stocked with basics such as laundry soap, dish detergent, toilet paper etc. I find that a lot of properties are not so well stocked, it was nice to not need to worry about those little things! Location is perfect and the dock and quiet cove was so nice for swimming, paddle boarding and relaxing! I would definitely recommend this property and would love to stay here again in the future!

"We booked this place for my bachelorette party and the property itself was great, but there were a few issues. Make sure to check the location received in the email and not the location shown on the airbnb map. It's actually two coves over from where it shows you on the airbnb map. Also, the bunk beds are a safety hazard because the top bunk is extremely close to the ceiling fan and one of my friends gashed her head on it. When I reached out to Pamela about it, she said was extremely friendly and made sure to come up with a resolution that we both agreed with. I would stay here again, knowing the location and being cautious of the top bunk situation.

Beautiful Stay

"Upon arrival everything was nice and neat. The place has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Kitchen was stocked with necessary items to cook with. Three bathrooms all with plenty of towels for your use. The washer and dryer were used our trip and made it nice to keep towels clean since we were out swimming off the dock every day. This area is tucked away from the main flow of boat traffic which was nice to relax. We used the grill to make food one night and it was easy to use. The home is very spacious with lots of sitting areas and table room. My kids and I already want to plan our next trip back.

"Lovely, quiet cove with nice views. The private dock was nice, we had morning coffee there, it was very peaceful. Kitchen was nicely stocked, beds were comfortable. Driveway is a bit steep and tricky, something to know if the weather goes bad. Also, pay attention to the e-mail directions. They explain clearly that the “maps” app takes you to a different address. Just click the one they provide you and it’s easy.

"The air bnb was far enough away from the strip where you couldn’t hear any noise from the house but close enough to make a short drive or to other popular pool bars. Pamela was immediately available when our code didn’t work correctly, and had us in and the issue fixed in minutes!

"The AirBNB was lovely!! Just like the pictures and our friends really enjoyed the location. If we needed anything, Pamela was super responsive! The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with items (slow cooker, s’mores maker, electric bottle opener, & much more). The dock was large and fun to jump off of, located perfectly within a cove. All together, a great place to stay for a weekend.

"The home was very comfortably set up. It is one of the best stocked homes we have stayed in and we have been staying in rental vacation homes for 13 years. It had every thoughtful touch from hot chocolate that I had with my grandson every morning to a s’mores maker to a crockpot so dinner could be ready when we came up from the dock. The dock was great and fishing was successful! We had a lot of fun swimming also. We rented a jet ski from Big Thunder Marine-Glencove which is close by land or water. The set up of the home with bedrooms upstairs was ideal for the teens who wanted to sleep later and the children who could have quiet early in the evening. We had a great vacation at this home!

"The house was just as pictured. Great location in quiet cove off main channel. Very well decorated, comfortable and relaxing. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need. If you plan to cook while here, the kitchen was perfect. The deck was great for relaxing. Huge trees provided shade at all times. The neighbors on both sides were very friendly and helpful. We loved it and will likely return. The only suggestions we could make is to have access to cleaning supplies available such as a broom so the deck can be swept of the bark and nuts from the trees. There was a times an odor of sulfur/rotten eggs from the water supply. Not sure if anything can be done about this. The chairs available on the dock were all broke in one form or another. Maybe have those replaced. Also the sliding glass door in the master bedroom would not open which was not a big deal but could be to someone else.

"The property was just as pictured. Adorable, comfortable in a perfect location. The house sits in a quiet cove off the main channel close to everything: groceries, restaurants, bars and boat rentals. The kitchen was perfect for those that likes to cook. Well supplied with a wide range of appliances, high quality cookware, utensils and dishes. The deck was great for relaxing, coffee and reading. It is completely shaded with large trees. Neighbors on both sides were pleasant and very helpful. The only recommendations I could make would be access to cleaning supplies so the deck could be swept of tree bark. Other than that, it was absolutely perfect.
