Pet Friendly Property Guidelines
- Pet fee of $20 per night per pet is required. This will be added with the booking or shortly after depending on where you are booking through.
- Pets must be on leash when outside and pets cannot be left unattended outside
- Pets must be crated / kenneled when left in the home alone
- Pet waste must be picked up and disposed of
- Owner shall provide and utilize a “cover” (i.e. blanket / quilt) should the pet get onto furniture
- Excessive hair on furniture or bedding and / or not managing pet waste can result in additional fines

Getting There
Ease of access via state highways and blacktop roads. Inquire about gravel roads if concerned as the road conditions can change. Just 3 hours from St. Louis and Kansas City and a half day drive from Nebraska, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas and Arkansas you have great access for families to connect and gather. International airport is in Kansas City and regional airports are available in Columbia and Springfield.

Amazing Dock

"The 4 stars mainly is because of the dock. Man! This dock was amazing and perfect if you like to swim and fish. My family had the best time on the dock. So many great memories. Just bring citronella candles for night. The bugs get wild with the lights on. But so worth it. The house itself, is a great set up but definitely needed maintenance and a deep deep clean and perhaps some clutter clean up would help too. All of the kitchen things it said it had, was not the case. Cookware, etc… was very limited for a group more than 2 people. So bring some if you plan to cook for your group. Stores are not close, for bulk shopping. Besides the primary room, the other rooms are bunk rooms and some beds sit right against the window air units. The 3rd bedroom is not attached to house and not the safest set up for young children. So be mindful that the only lock to the outside is the actual bedroom door. The back door to the breezeway is broken, so it does not lock or close all the way.

Good Stay for Those Who Love the Lake!

"We stayed at the lake house for four days with our teen kids. Our main attraction was the dock and the ability to bring the boat. From this perspective, our stay was perfect! The house was clean, the kitchen was well stocked. The bathrooms were clean, and most things you would expect in Airbnb were there. The neighborhood is small and peaceful, the neighboring houses were vacant. A couple of minor things to note were a lack of dishwasher and the fact that you cannot lock the house from the lakeside. I might have overlooked that there is no dishwasher in the ad, but I am unsure. We stay plenty with Airbnb, VRBO, Evolve, and other vacation rentals, and this is the first time in many years we have landed in a house with no dishwasher. We like to cook our meals, so having it would be handy. Having no ability to lock the house from inside was unusual, but we survived. Overall it is a good stay for those who love the lake!

"There was a bit confusing on the door code but she was very responsive and helped us to get in. Stay was very clean, nice and homey. The view from master bedroom was amazing, views from the dock was pleasing. We stayed at home most of the time to get the best out of it. Everything described/ in the pictures were very accurate. Only thing was the bathroom on the main floor, the sliding door was little uncomfortable for us (felt less privacy, May be just for us). I highly recommend this stay for anyone who wants a relaxing vacation.

"We recently had the pleasure of staying at this location right by the lake. We woke up every morning to the breathtaking views of the shimmering water. The tranquility of the surroundings was simply unparalleled, allowing us to unwind and relax.

The accommodation itself was delightful. The owner had paid meticulous attention to detail in furnishing the space, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The interior design and decor perfectly complemented the lake setting.

The host was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. Clear instructions were provided and any questions or concerns were answered promptly.

One of the highlights of our stay was having direct access to the lake. My boys spend days swimming, kayaking, boating and simply enjoying the peacefulness of the water. It was a refreshing escape from our hustle and bustle of our daily life.

Overall, our stay by the lake definitely exceed our expectations.

"This place was perfect for our group of friends!! A nice dock and patio with lots of lighting at night! Just a boat ride across the lake to Coconuts, which was so nice! Pamela responded to all my questions in a quickly manner and was such a good hostess! We had a great time!
