Getting There
Ease of access via state highways and blacktop roads. Just 3 hours from St. Louis and Kansas City and a half day drive from Nebraska, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas and Arkansas you have great access for families to connect and gather.  International airport is in Kansas City and regional airports are available in Columbia and Springfield.

"We loved our stay! The photos are great and the setting is beautiful. Right on the lake and very peaceful. The home is in pristine condition and extremely comfortable. Well stocked kitchen, lots of games, views of the lake from pretty much every room. Pamela was a wonderful host, very responsive and shared lots of helpful information.

Great Experience

"We had 9 people total, 4 adults and 5 kids. The space was just the right amount of room for everyone. The thing that stood out the most about this home was all the “extras” that were provided. We have stayed in many Air B&B's and this one provided many things that others do not, including a sound machine in the bedroom, chargers, speaker, lots of extra fans and blankets, laundry supplies, soooo many games, books, and supplies for kids, and so much more. The kitchen was fully stocked with any little thing we would need, especially utensils. The thing we loved the most was the huge amount of water “toys.” We used the kayaks, paddle board, water mat, floats, life jackets, and so much more. The dock is so spacious and provided room enough for our whole party. The neighbors were so friendly and welcoming and asked if our kids would like to jump off of their high dive which we thought was so nice. Overall a great experience here except a few things that I brought to management's attention.

"The house was comfortable and as expected. Communication with Pamela was timely and professional. They accommodated our request for an additional guest and an early check in. The house would be difficult for anyone with mobility issues but many lake homes are due to stairs and change of elevations.

Felt Right At Home

"Our family really enjoyed the idea of being on the lake, and it was a perfect location. The house is in a cove so we didn't have to worry about speeding boats and our grandkids jumping off the dock. We had beautiful sunsets and fantastic fireworks. (4th of July weekend) We felt right at home, as if we were visiting family. We feel that these few things might be taken into consideration. The kitchen sink water pressure wasn't the strongest, the firepit wasn't really user friendly, and the pathway from the deck to the boat dock is a challenge if you have walking issues. Overall our family was able to make fantastic memories.

"My wife and I visit the Lake each year and have stayed at many homes around the lake over the years. Pamela's home was the best one yet. Not only was the house as described, it had all the amenities we could have ever asked for and more. The home was clean, luxurious and most importantly a host that was responsive and caring. We cannot wait to come back next summer!

"My family and I stayed 5 nights and had a wonderful experience. House was as beautiful as pictured. Kitchen was jam packed with everything we needed to cook for our family of 5. There was also plenty of tumblers, coolers, and even a portable speaker we used on our days out on the dock. We loved waving at the friendly neighbors who passed on their boats. And I got to enjoy peaceful waters while using one of their many kayaks. My three teen boys enjoyed spending time jumping into the water. We would definitely want to return.
