Pet Friendly Property Guidelines
- Pet fee of $20 per night per pet is required. This will be added with the booking or shortly after depending on where you are booking through.
- Pets must be on leash when outside and pets cannot be left unattended outside
- Pets must be crated / kenneled when left in the home alone
- Pet waste must be picked up and disposed of
- Owner shall provide and utilize a “cover” (i.e. blanket / quilt) should the pet get onto furniture
- Excessive hair on furniture or bedding and / or not managing pet waste can result in additional fines

Getting There
Ease of access via state highways and blacktop roads. Inquire about gravel roads if concerned as the road conditions can change. Just 3 hours from St. Louis and Kansas City and a half day drive from Nebraska, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas and Arkansas you have great access for families to connect and gather. International airport is in Kansas City and regional airports are available in Columbia and Springfield.

"Spent 3 perfect nights here with the family and 2 dogs. Couldn't have asked for a better house and lake location. Everything was just as the pictures show. Awesome dock which is where we spent most of our time! Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Beautiful, Peaceful and Relaxing

"I really can't say enough good things about the property management company or the property itself. From the instant I booked, the communication was phenomenal. After booking, I had information about the property, checking in and things to know about the area. As soon as we arrived at the property, our first words were, "Wow! This is it?!" The photos really don't do justice on how incredible the outdoor setup is. The dock is a super easy walk from the house. All the rooms along the front of the house have a gorgeous lake view. The area was so quiet, felt like we had the lake to ourselves. Inside will not disappoint either. It has very nice finishes with an excellent floor plan. Least not forget how equipped the house is. It had everything you could need for your stay. It was like going to your aunt and uncle's cabin who made sure you didn't need anything. Would love to rent this place again. If it wasn't available, I'd definitely look at Lake Day Rentals before any others. They just made the trip so easy. We've never felt so care for from a property management company. Or other property owners for that matter. They're over the top!

"We used this cabin for a writing retreat and it was perfect. Clean, spacious, well stocked, and excellent hosts, all 5 stars! We knew the lake would be peaceful and quiet during our stay, but we are frequent visitors to LOZ’s and this cabin would be so perfect for a summer family visit to the lake. We may be back with our fam next summer!!

"This rental was absolutely perfect for our party of six and two dogs. The location on the lake was great! We truly enjoyed the porch and dock. There was plenty of space for all of us to relax in our own ways. We grilled two night (more grilling utensils would be nice) and ate in every day/night so we're satisfied with all the kitchen offered for the most part. Overall the house was neat, spacious and perfect for lazy lake days. Thank you soooo much

Wonderful Lake Home!

"Pamela was a good host. This lake home was wonderful! It was bigger than we needed for my wife and I but our friends cancelled at the last minute. This is really a nice upper part of the lake and close to a lot of restaurants by boat you can go to. It even had room for my boat trailer and their covered boat dock was great for our boat. We would definitely stay here again.

Home & Location Are Perfect!

"The home & location are perfect! We took our family for 5 days. Plenty of room for everyone. It's wonderful if you have your own boat to bring. The doc is amazing! Good fishing, playing & docking. The evenings are great, Live Music can be heard across the lake till 10pm. The homes deck is a great hangout. The view & sunsets are gorgeous. FYI : PUT YOUR BOAT IN BEFORE ARRIVAL TO THE HOME! The roads are steep & narrow & it's a 15 min boat ride, 25 min drive to a ramp. There are a lot of emails sent by Airbnb & a few from the host before arriving, arrival & leaving. I missed leaving instructions - we disconnected from our phones & enjoyed our vacation. Hope I didn't mess up too bad.

"We really enjoyed our three night stay at Cece's Sunset! It was such a beautiful home, with everything you could possibly need to be comfortable! Since we were there before the snagging season started, a lot of the restaurants were not open yet but we had planned to cook while we were there, so that didn't bother us. There were nearby stores and bait and tackle shops close by, where we could get anything we needed, including our fishing licenses. The weather was great while we were there, so we spent most of our time hanging on the amazing deck, fishing on the awesome pier, and taking our dog for long walks. There's also a cool swing out front that we had fun with! We felt very safe in the area and we would definitely stay there again when we pass through on our next road trip in the future! Pamela was great communicating, from the time we booked until our departure. We were delighted with the welcome bag, with the delicious snacks and souvenirs inside….That was a lovely touch!

"Wanted a fun but relaxing place for me and my family for my 30th birthday weekend, and I couldn't have asked for a better location than Pamela's lake house! It was just what we needed and everything was stocked and easy to use as well. The boat deck was our favorite hang out and around the fireplace! Thank you so much for letting me and my family stay here we really made some great memories and had a blast!

"The place was amazing, the guys loved the dock and boat slip for the big bass tournament! Very clean and was describes perfectly, we felt very at home. The couch was super comfy for us to watch movies in the evening! Several restaurants are just a short boat ride away. Highly recommend!
